Effective August 26, 2024, Utah will transition all CCNs to the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System.
Reasons for this change:
- Centralized Platform: All consumer credit notifications will now be managed through NMLS, enhancing regulatory oversight.
- Improved Efficiency: The transition to NMLS will simplify the notification process and reduce administrative burdens.
- Enhanced Security: NMLS provides a secure environment for handling sensitive consumer credit information.
