On April 1, the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions began accepting applications for the Indiana consumer loan license via NMLS. If a company’s paper application for an Indiana consumer loan license is currently pending, we understand that it must be resubmitted via NMLS before it will be approved by the department. Companies currently holding the license must submit a transition request via NMLS by October 31, 2021.
Whether applying for or transitioning the license, all documents must be submitted via NMLS. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Business plan
- Certificate of authority/good standing
- Formation documents
- Management chart
- Organizational chart
